The evaluation examines the various programme areas of Erasmus + in terms of their achievement, the developments in the new generation of programs and the necessary changes or developments for the next generation of programmes from 2021 onwards. The report was published in German.

In day-to-day foreign relations – but especially in times of crisis and conflict or when political tensions arise - we need a space that allows for continuous communication and exchange. Around 100 participants discussed in Brussels the German and European approach for integrating science, education and culture in external policy.

Excellence, a strong added European value, impact and proximity to the citizens - those are some of the key expectations of the Federal German government towards the successor programme of Horizon 2020, which is due to start in 2021.

Researchers from accredited universities and non-profit research institutions can submit an internship offer for which German students from the fields of engineering, natural and earth sciences, medicine, computer science or related disciplines may apply. A successful applicant will receive a DAAD scholarship to carry out a research stay in your working group. If you want to submit a project offer, please register here until October 23, 2017.
For the academic year 2018/2019, the DAAD offers again a wide range of study and research fellowships, summer schools and research stays for Beglian students and researchers. The application period varies according to the different programmes. You can find all further information on scholarships and application requirements in the DAAD scholarship database.
Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) MOPGA-GRI stands for „Make Our Planet Great Again – German Research Initiative“.
Fellows of the programme will be given the opportunity to set up their own research group at a German university or research institution for a period of four years.

The National Agency Erasmus+ for EU Higher Education cooperation in the DAAD has published a position paper with recommendations on the programme’s further development in its second phase (2017-2020) as well as regarding the future programme generation, due to start in 2021.

Event - 8/9 May 2017
The DAAD Brussels Office welcomed the Humboldt University of Berlin on the ocassion of the ERASMUS anniversary. During their stay the delegation of 23 employees of International Offices, faculties, researchers and administration staff became familiar with the political scope of ERASMUS+ and the institutional structure in Brussels.

European Networking Conference, 22/23 May 2017
The promotion of European values such as intercultural understanding, diversity and mobility was at the core of this DAAD event, bringing together 100 participants at the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany to the EU.
